About this space

Mezzanine is a mezzanine lounge in Banyan Spinningfields bar that provides elevated, semi-private seating above the main floor.

Design: Dark-painted metal beams, herringbone wood flooring and warm globe pendant lights create an intimate, lounge-style interior with low ceilings.

Features: Built-in velvet banquette seating lines the perimeter, supported by movable ottoman stools and small round tables that can be reconfigured for different layouts. Step access and a low metal railing define the mezzanine boundary. Wi‑Fi is provided.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, seated drinks area for conversational mingling in a semi-private setting.

What sets it apart: Floor-to-ceiling windows deliver street-facing views and steady natural light to the mezzanine.

What guests say: The mezzanine is cosy and comfortable and becomes lively when the DJ is playing.

Birthday Party · 100 guests · February 2024

Amazing venue in a fantastic location. Bartenders staff were incredibly friendly and superb. Great selection of drinks at the venue too.

I ordered drinks vouchers as part of the prepaid package, when late on the night (around 11pm) I was frustrated to learn the venue actually put the value of the vouchers as a bar tab rather than exchanging drinks 1 for 1 with the vouchers. When the manager tried to describe this to me on the evening he was not clear and I believed the negative spend he was showing me on the till was the gap to the minimum spend but in fact was actually my money that needed to be used up. I told all my guests to stop buying their own drinks and use the tab which we just managed to use up. Frustrating as it could have been a complete waste of my money and easily avoided if I was told I would have a tab. Put a slight downer on my 30th birthday but can't fault the rest, Great venue and friendly staff!
