FAQ’s – Bookable Extras (Podcast Studio)

Please note that the Floating Podcast Studio is a self-service space, and there is no on-site technical support for your booking.

The studio is equipped with everything you need for a professional recording experience, including a Mackie DLZ Creator mixer for high-quality sound recording, microphones, headphones, a TV display screen, and comfortable seating.

To record audio, please bring your own laptop or microSD card. You can connect your laptop directly to the mixer using your preferred recording software, or insert a microSD card into the mixer to capture your audio.

We do not provide cameras, so if you wish to record video, please bring your own camera equipment or use your mobile phone.

There is no on-site sound engineer; however, the studio operates as a simple plug-and-play system, making it easy to use for both beginners and experienced podcasters.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. When booking, please ensure you allow enough time for setup and pack-up within these hours.

Please arrive at reception 10 minutes before your scheduled session. To verify your booking, you must present a valid photo ID (original only) on the day. We are unable to accept copies and cannot facilitate your booking without the original document.

Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited within the building. Please use designated outdoor areas for smoking.

Keep noise levels at a reasonable level, especially during evening hours. Be mindful of neighbouring spaces and our community.

Pets Policy:
Pets are allowed as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash.

Security and Access:
Ensure that doors are securely closed and locked when leaving the space. Report any security concerns to reception.

Clean-Up:
Basic cleaning is the responsibility of the guest. Please leave the space in the condition you found it. Cleaning fee will be charged if excessive mess.
