About this space

The Floating Podcast Studio is your gateway to exceptional audio excellence — a repurposed, soundproofed shipping container suspended above our café, designed for up to four people. This self-service studio offers a professional yet easy-to-use setup, featuring a Mackie DLZ Creator mixer for high-quality sound recording, microphones, headphones, a TV display screen, and comfortable seating. Please bring your own laptop or microSD card to record your session; simply connect to the mixer or insert the card to capture your audio. Cameras are not provided, so you’re welcome to bring your own equipment or use your phone for video recording. No on-site sound engineer is available, but the system is plug-and-play, suitable for both beginners and professionals. The studio operates Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm, and guests should arrive at reception 10 minutes before their booking. Please allow time for setup and pack-up within the operating hours. Remember to bring a valid photo ID (original only, no copies) on the day, as it is required to access the studio.
