Venue Hire at Canal Cafe Theatre
About this space
Our theatre has been perched on the edge of the canal in Little Venice since 1979. It is a thriving comedy and new writing venue and has launched the careers of the likes of The League of Gentlemen, Miranda Hart and John Oliver. We are based above the lovely Bridge House Pub, ideal for pre and post-show drinks and dining. Little Venice is one of the capital's most beautiful areas near Paddington's bars and pubs.
Our 60-seat theatre is ideal for performances ranging from comedy, one-person shows, stand-up, cabaret, small scale musicals, revivals, and new writing. The seating is arranged by tables, from two seats to six and there is a raised stage in a proscenium arch layout.

About Canal Cafe Theatre

We take bookings for one-off shows, weekend runs, weeklong runs, or a regular monthly residency. We programme 50-minute to one-hour-long shows, but shows with a longer duration can be accommodated if they suit our space.
We are also perfect as a filming location.
