Host rules

To proceed with a booking, we will provide a short contract outlining the final agreed hire details.
This must be signed before your 50% deposit of the venue hire fee (£600) is taken to confirm the booking.
All bookings are over-18s only (ID may be required)
The final balance of the venue hire fee is due 7 days prior to the event.
If the agreed minimum spend is not met through food and drink purchases, the client will be invoiced the difference after the event.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will
receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made between 7 and 29 days before
the event, a 50% refund will apply. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.

Had my 40th at the Birds Nest. The Venue is spectacular, the food and drink were great and the staff went above and beyond, cant thank them enough. Cant recommend it highly enough for an event.

Daria has been absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the whole process of planning our event at the Bird’s Nest. She has taken time to meet with us on a couple of occasions, really listened to our ideas, and helped turn them into reality in a way that feels even better than we imagined. No question has felt like too much trouble - she’s always been incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to help, even with the smallest or silliest queries. She’s also given us great ideas for the venue and has been really clear and organised in all communication, which has made the whole planning process feel easy and stress-free. We’re really grateful for all her help so far and feel very confident and excited going into the event knowing she’s involved.

FAQ

Yes, clients are welcome to bring their own DJ equipment, provided prior discussion and approval are obtained.

Yes, bands are absolutely fine, and the venue has hosted live music before.

No. Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer are prime dates.

The band can play until nearly the end. The venue suggests stopping 15–30 minutes before closing and switching to a playlist so guests can say their final goodbyes and the venue can be cleared.

No. As the venue has two terraces on opposite sides, it does not require air conditioning; natural airflow is in place and there were no issues last summer.
