About this space

The Bertie Crewe Bar is a lounge in The Shaftesbury Theatre that functions as a compact, counter-led private bar within the theatre.

Design: The space combines a green-tiled bar front and timber shelving with pale green painted panelling, recessed downlights and polished wood flooring, producing a restrained, compact interior.

Features: The space includes a staffed service counter with mirrored back shelving and card-enabled tills, plus wall-mounted screens for visuals. The room provides guest Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, permission to play your own music and access to accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, social standing reception or pre- and post-show drinks in an informal lounge layout.

What guests say: The bar area is staffed by friendly teams.
