About this space

Y Room is a hall in Drumsheds characterised by a low ceiling and a grid of exposed support columns, forming a compact, secondary industrial space within the larger warehouse.

Design: The room presents a raw, industrial finish of concrete floors, exposed ducting and steel columns, creating a minimalist, utilitarian interior. The space responds well to coloured lighting and beams, which are used to cut through the open floor and define activity areas.

Features: A built-in PA system and speakers are installed, and hosts may bring their own DJ and play their own music. The room has venue Wi‑Fi and a flat, open plan layout punctuated by structural columns that influence sightlines and staging options.

Ideal for: Promoters and music-focused groups seeking a compact, energetic standing space suitable for DJ sets and relaxed, social gatherings.

What guests say: The Y Room is experienced as a calmer, more intimate area within the larger venue. The room's sound is powerful, although reviewers note the acoustics could be further optimised.
