Nave at St Anne's Limehouse

About this space

A gorgeous, Hawksmoor designed church nave, with space to fit around 450 guests sitting (on both pews and chairs) and around 250 standing. This space has been used as a filming and events location for multiple high-profile events and TV programmes, most notably the BBC's "Call the Midwife."

We have also hosted award ceremonies, weddings, galas, exhibitions, etc, and are well equipped to handle a wide variety of events.

Things to note:

Please note that any bookings must be in line with our building hire policy and appropriate for a place of Christian worship.

Please note that hiring the Nave does not include exclusive use of the toilets, which are located downstairs in the Crypt. Access to the toilets is via the Crypt space, which can be hired out separately. If you would prefer to have exclusive access to toilets and not have your guests potentially have to walk through another event in order to access toilets, then please enquire about hiring the Crypt separately. We can offer a discount on Crypt bookings if the Nave is also being booked.

All taps and kitchen facilities are also located downstairs in the Crypt. To guarantee unhindered access to these, the Crypt space will have to be booked separately as above.

Please note that a cleaning service is not normally available. The venue must be left in the state it was found, and with all furniture back in place. An additional fee may be charged to the customer for any time spent cleaning up, rearranging furniture, as well as for any breakages, etc.
