About this space

Boulebar Spitalfields is an indoor social venue centred on playable pétanque courts that form the core activity of the space.

Design: The interior presents a low-ceilinged, industrial basement aesthetic with exposed ducting and painted columns, warm directional lighting and informal seating clusters around open bays.

Features: The venue includes a staffed bar and service area, a PA system and speakers, and allows own music or a guest DJ. The space also provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and step-free access, plus accessible toilets and wheelchair access.

Ideal for: Teams or groups of friends seeking a relaxed, activity-led social gathering with casual standing and mixed seating.

What sets it apart: On-site game hosts coach groups and run matches, so organisers do not need prior experience to get everyone playing.

What guests say: The venue’s staff are attentive and helpful, guiding newcomers through the games and keeping events running smoothly. The space is lively and welcoming, and the bar and cocktails receive frequent praise.
