What a fantastic experience from start to finish. I have worked with many people and put on many events, this was by far one of the best venues with one of the best, kindest and most helpful teams. Special shout out to Samantha and Luis who served so well on the night. Patricia was great and super speedy with her replies on here. I was able to visit the venue beforehand, and have all questions answered, and I knew we'd be well looked after. For a private room in central London on a Saturday night, the minimum spend price is so decent. And it's so refreshing to feel that a venue deosn't just want you for your money, but wants you to have a good celebration and actually gives you a reasonable spend to cater for a range of different guests. When we arrived on Saturday, it was a tight turnaround for us but all the staff were super accommodating and helpful, and even better helped us to surprise our celebrants by bringing them downstairs for us and making it such a memorable evening for our bride and groom-to-be at their surprise engagement party. I'm looking forward to the next occasion that I can celebrate at Maxwell's, because it was honestly fab. The food was fine and tasty and came out quickly. The service was great considering we were such a big group, and we had a great arrangement of paying for drinks as we went then paying for individual meals at the end which worked out really well. This was suggested by the male manager working earlier that night. There is a great sound system which was explained to me very straightforwardly, you can play your own music, and there's a microphone that we used for speeches. The room looks as pictured, and it's a lovely space. It was a decent size for 30 of us.
The back door was used by a couple of people, which wasn't ideal for the private party. But this was not a huge disruption, just something to note and maybe something the venue can be a bit stricter on where possible during private bookings.

This venue was perfect for my 28th birthday dinner. The food was amazing and came out very quickly. The staff were lovely and so understanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend.

The setup ahead of the event and on the day was great. The venue was exactly as pictured, I'll definitely use it again for a future social. I really appreciated the manager and the bartender; they were both flexible, helpful, and kind.

I booked Maxwells for my sisters surprise birthday party. The staff were super helpful, even setting up some of the decorations for us. We had our own personal bar tender who was very attentive, drinks were reasonably priced for central London, music system was good and loud. Definitely recommend.
