With a beautiful, Picasso- inspired mural on our exposed brick wall, cosy alcoves and soft lighting, our Cellar restaurant is a beautiful space for any semi-exclusive event. The tables can be configured to suit you and your guests, allowing space for a small band, dance area or drinks reception.
The Cellar restaurant is also a wonderful option for larger groups, with our longer tables able to hold up to 25/30 guests. Enjoy the real ambience of Spain as you sample our wonderful wine list, listen to the music of Spain and feed your soul with our award winning tapas.
We are happy to offer drinks and tapas packages for larger groups, as well as a full hire of the space; please note that due to access to the toilets, we are unable to hire the cellar fully exclusively as customers upstairs will require access.

Please note that we do not offer corkage, however we are happy to source alternative cavas/champagnes/similar with our excellent wine supplier.
We welcome birthday cakes but due to health & safety they do have to be shop bought and not home-made; we cannot store items which need to be refrigerated for smaller bookings. Please inform us in advance of anything you'd like to bring and we'll be happy to advise!

The upstairs restaurant is light and airy, with artwork adorning the walls and our signature lampost at the top of our spiral staircase! This space is ideal for smaller bookings, but also works wonderfully as a drinks reception area for full venue hires.
Downstairs you'll find our beautifully refurbished cellar space; Picasso-style murals adorn the exposed brickwork, a tarnished mirror takes up another wall and the lighting is soft and elegant; overall the effect is sophisticated yet relaxing. The space offers seating for larger tables and there's also two cosy alcoves for a more intimate dining experience.
El Pirata is conveniently located minutes' away from both Green Park and Hyde Park stations, as well as being only 8 minutes away from Westminster Registry office and a stone's throw from many of the most wonderful hotels in London.
