About this space

Our elegant 18th century building on Bloomsbury's John Street has a large first floor meeting room which can seat 8 people comfortably around a table.

High ceilings and huge windows looking out to the historic street below make this light and airy space a great choice for your next meeting. Ideal space for creative brainstorming, recruitment interviews, executive development and training with small groups or just bringing your team together in a new and impressive space.

A receptionist will greet you and your guests and show you upstairs to the meeting room.

We offer great wi-fi and a large (40 inch) TV screen. You can log your laptop into the wi-fi and broadcast your presentation or video to the screen. There are two white boards with pens. A table top flip-chart is also available.

The room has a mini-fridge, kettle, mugs and glasses. Plates and cutlery available. We offer everything you need for a self-catered meeting.

The meeting room is available to rent on an hourly basis with a minimum stay time of two hours. If your meeting is scheduled for only two hours, we can accommodate you.

The room was large, warm and overall very inviting, it was the perfect space for my crafts workshop! Water, tea and coffee were provided which was a nice touch which all my guests appreciated. Communication with Melissa was very easy. She was clear and consistent, offering extra information about the space and booking which made the whole booking process that much more swift and simple, including when making amendments to the booking. The staff at reception were all great and super helpful, they really added to the positive experience in the space itself. Thank you so much to you all!

FAQ

Yes, a flipchart can be provided in the meeting room on request.

Yes, the screen can broadcast sound when used as a TV, although it has no webcam or Zoom- or Teams-type software.

No. The meeting room has wi-fi so that laptops can connect to the screen. However, if you are used to using a cable, please bring one; the wireless settings may be difficult to find. The venue has one cable, but laptops have different connectors, so adaptors may be needed and should be brought if required.
