"Sarah was so communicative and helpful throughout the process of booking the venue."

A traditional Victorian pub that doubles as a bright, adaptable event venue centred on an airy, industrial-style rear room.
Design: An industrial, light-filled interior featuring white-painted exposed brick, skylights and a polished concrete floor, organised around a long bar and mixed seating including sofas and stools.
Features: A staffed, fully stocked bar serves the main room. The space includes a pool table and jukebox. A DJ-friendly rig with PA/speakers, event lighting and a mirror ball supports music and performances. Practical amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, step-free guest entrance, wheelchair-accessible layout and accessible toilets; own music is allowed and external DJs are welcome subject to the venue's noise restrictions.
Ideal for: Friends and local community groups seeking a relaxed, social gathering that mixes informal seating and standing.
What sets it apart: A sunny, private terrace directly accessible from the event area that extends the usable space outdoors.
What guests say: The booking process is straightforward and staff are described as attentive and responsive throughout planning and on the day. The space works well for private parties thanks to clear communication and simple bar arrangements.

We just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary (which was effectively our wedding reception) at The Victoria. The size of the venue was perfect for the 90-100 people we had in attendance. With the band and DJ in the backroom it meant those who wanted to take a break from dancing could do so at the bar out front. Sarah, Joe and all their staff were incredible. They answered all our questions, helped us set up and pack down and were just generally lovely to communicate with. Joe was SO helpful on the night. Our guests were really happy with the service and loved the venue. A lot of our friends are local too so being able to walk or get a short bus ride home was ideal! This is the perfect cosy venue for any celebration. The sound was great and we didn't need to do anything. You'll be in safe hands with Sarah and Joe. It felt very relaxed, like we were putting on a party at home!
Nothing! We were really impressed!

Sarah was so communicative and helpful throughout the process of booking the venue. And, on the day, the team couldn't have been more helpful, patient, and kind. All our guests commented on how great the venue was. Thank you so much!
