What a night! From our first look at the venue to the end of our party, the staff were absolute pros throughout. The venue is great, there is lots to do, which gets everyone mingling. Must be at least 10 different stations with different video game consoles, board games etc. for everyone to get silly. The staff are quick to help if any of the games need setting up. Bar staff were excellent in providing drinks and chats all night. They received many compliments from our guests following the party.
Drinks are reasonably priced for London, so you're not worrying about your bank account all night. We had a DJ set up downstairs which was easy to arrange with the host. Paddy, the owner, was great when we first viewed the venue. He put us immediately at ease by answering all our questions, and you could see his passion for what he's built here. We read about the basement ceiling height being an issue, but it wasn't bad. If guests are 6"3+ then they might struggle, but it's only in the middle where people had to duck. to get to either side. Security was lovely and welcoming to everyone. We paid for prosecco on arrival, which worked well and was reasonable.
If you're thinking about throwing a quirky party that people won't forget, then this is the one!
The one shared toilet is a problem. If you're hosting more than 50 people, then another toilet downstairs should be a priority in my opinion. This is our only complaint.

Venue is super unique and versatile. I hosted my 24th here and just about everyone who attended commented on how cool the vibe was. We used the upstairs area for drinks / gaming / conversations, and downstairs more for dancing. It worked really well and had something for everyone. The lighting for the space is fantastic, and there's even a smoke machine for added ambiance downstairs. The drinks are amazingly priced too (£8 for double spirit mixer + £5.90 for a pint).
The staff are fantastic. Special thank you to Paddy, who is super communicative as a host and genuinely wants to put on a great night for you. Some of his WhatsApp messages had me creasing. Rest of the team are really friendly and will try to accommodate all your requests. At no point did they make us feel uncomfortable or awkward for using their space. Really can't sing their praises enough - they make your night better.
As a disclaimer, the following are all me nitpicking.
(1) The ceilings downstairs are quite low. If you're 6'3 and over, you'll have to crouch. I had about 6 guests who had this problem but it wasn't that deep in the end. I still caught them dancing with bent knees or playing GTA on the couches.
(2) The staircase to the downstairs area are slightly hidden and a little steep. This just meant that I had to direct people a bit at the beginning, and there were a few slip ups. Very minor issue though and didn't really affect the evening overall.

This venue is incredible and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They really went above and beyond. Everyone had an amazing time and the games were so fun. Thankyou for all of your help team zombie!! We really hope to come back!!
