We have a full sound and iPod connectable sound system on both floors, two cocktail bars, heated garden, Wi-Fi, screen, experienced cocktail bartenders, friendly staff and owners, and security.

Canapés and bowl food are available for 30 guests and above. BBQ’s are available in the summer when hiring the whole venue or lounge bar exclusively. We work with only approved caterers and we are happy to provide menus on request. If you want something more casual, we have a wood fired pizza menu for you to tuck into.

We can offer prosecco, Champagne or cocktail drink receptions for your guests arrival. Each bar is stocked full of international spirits and our bar team are on hand to produce an array of irresistible, hand-crafted cocktails that are sure to leave you grinning.

Minimum spends apply and varies depending on the day of the week. There's no hire fee or service charge.

Our venue consists of two bars and an outdoor area:

Reggie and Kim were brilliant to liaise and speak with. Attentive and going above and beyond to ensure all goes well. For the aux cord (music) they didn’t have a lightening adapter and Reggie was immediately ready to support and went to buy one from nearby, truly a lifesaver and just so kind overall. Lovely venue, brilliant AC in this killer heat, cosy (having seats around was great), they have a cold room for cake if it’s a bday, flexibility with decoration.

It’s a smidge dark in there as it’s reliant on smaller yellow toned lights but it’s as it looks in pictures - just make sure to bring a ring light or something for pictures!

Easy five stars. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience hosting my 40th birthday party for c40 guests. Communication with Kim about booking, admin, key info etc was friendly, professional helpful and speedy. Really make planning a breeze. Reggie looked after us on arrival and made me feel very welcome and explained everything. The basement bar has such good vibes. It’s big enough so when we had like 50 people at the peak there was plenty of space, but because of the layout (bar in the middle, dancing and seating front and back) it meant towards the end with only 15 people it still felt busy as we were all in the front area. DJ equipment was complete and easy for my DJs to plug into. Full information on what’s provided was shared in advance. Sound system was good and I felt like it was better than upstairs actually. Bar staff were super professional and friendly. Went above and beyond for example helping us to blow up a fiddly individual letter happy birthday banner. Real can do attitude and I think they went a long way to making the vibe nice. The cocktails were delicious. I was discreetly kept informed about how much was left on my tab and I was able to increase it a few times easily. We blasted through the very reasonable minimum spend quite quickly so I was happy to top up some more as most venues had a much higher min spend anyway. The bar was decorated with fairy lights in the pillars and I took happy birthday banners, helium 40 balloon numbers and these little number light things off amazon that worked really well to make the area feel suitably themed. We ordered pizzas via the suggested company and they were on time and delicious. Tip, if Kim tells you you’ve ordered to much… you probably have. I had been a bit worried the toilets wouldn’t be sufficient for two private parties but i never had to queue. The basement bar is cool as it has direct back stair access to the smoking area and toilets. I have literally zero negative things to say. Top venue and team. Book Apples and Pears, you won’t be disappointed.

The only other video available is of the lounge bar, which can be sent if helpful; the entrance is very close to its start, with steps behind the entrance door leading to the main entrance and lounge bar. The bathrooms are accessed via the basement bar’s rear door on the first floor, while the outdoor space is on the ground floor via steps from that door; the video may show the entrance and a glimpse of the outdoor area.

Yes, the choice of DJ can be confirmed nearer the time.

Fitted furniture cannot be removed; however, some cubes and high stools can be removed to create a dancing area by the DJ booth.

Yes. Guests purchase their own drinks, and once the minimum bar spend is met, the deposit is refunded to the same payment method the next day.
