About this space

Northcote Records is a live-music cocktail bar that presents bands and DJs most nights, organised around an informal pub-style layout focused on evening music and socialising.

Design: The interior pairs exposed brick walls and dark wood floors with tufted leather banquettes and low, warm lighting. A shelf-lined back wall and pendant fixtures create an intimate, compact-plan room with a low ceiling and central chandelier.

Features: The venue has a recessed performance alcove plus a professional PA system and speakers for live sound and DJ use. A staffed bar serves crafted cocktails and bottled beer, and an on-site pizza kitchen produces pizzas to order. Accessible facilities include a step-free guest entrance, accessible toilets and Wi‑Fi, and the space provides its own music sources and a small dancefloor.

Ideal for: Local groups seeking a relaxed, music-centred evening that mixes standing socialising and informal seated drinks.

What sets it apart: A large, heater-equipped outdoor terrace extends the venue's usable space into chilly evenings.

What guests say: The space is lively and social, and the cocktails and pizzas receive repeated praise. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
