St Stephen Walbrook Church, Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece, has been described as one of the ten most important buildings in England. The main space is crowned by the first dome to be built in the UK (it predates St Paul’s Cathedral).
The interior, which was substantially reordered in the 1980s is focussed around a central stone altar, carved by Henry Moore in travertine marble which stands on a beautiful white marble floor surrounded by Circular pews that are removable.
The main space can accommodate a number of event formats including a drinks reception for 200 guests, a seated dinner for up to 80 guests around the magnificent circular altar or up to 150 guests can be accommodated for a recital or concert using the pew circling the central altar. Additional chairs can be hired to accommodate a total of 260 guests.
Below the church is a small crypt with brick arches which was the birthplace of The Samaritans, the world’s first telephone helpline. The ministry of the church continues to focus on well-being and mental health today.

-No smoking.
-Events must not be of an inappropriate nature for a place of worship.
-Must be respectful of the Church itself, it's structure and artifacts.
-Events can include alcohol but excessive drinking is not promoted.
-All suppliers must be booked from our list of approved suppliers.
