Access & Timing
• Hire period must include setup and breakdown time;
• Overtime charged beyond agreed hours;
• Access only within booked times unless agreed in advance;
Capacity & Safety
• Maximum capacity (e.g. 500 people) must not be exceeded;
• Fire exits must remain clear at all times;
• No obstruction of access routes or entrances;
• Noise & Neighbours;
• Music and noise levels must comply with local regulations;
• Doors may need to remain closed during events;
• Respect surrounding businesses/residents, especially late at night;
Damage & Responsibility
• Hirer is responsible for any damage to the space or equipment;
• All equipment brought in is at the hirer’s risk;
• A security/damage deposit may be required;
Cleaning & Waste
• Space must be returned in the condition it was found;
• All rubbish must be removed or disposed of as agreed;
• Additional cleaning fees may apply if needed;
Production / Filming Specific
• No drilling, fixing, or alterations without prior approval;
• Any set builds must be agreed in advance;
• Floor/wall protection may be required;
Insurance
• Public liability insurance required (often £1–5M cover);
• Proof of insurance may be requested before booking;
Staff & Security
• Security may be required depending on event size/type;
• Venue staff instructions must be followed at all times;
Alcohol & Licensing
• Alcohol service must comply with licensing laws;
• No external alcohol without prior agreement;
• Deliveries & Load-In;
• All deliveries and collections must be scheduled in advance;
