The Nave, an Event Space in Hackney Church, occupies the former church nave and retains its high vaulted ceiling and classical columns that define the room's proportions.
Design: The interior presents white-painted walls, tall columns and original stained-glass clerestory windows that supply natural light. The floor is a dark hard finish and timber panelling, pendant lighting and minimal detailing give the space a restrained, contemporary fit-out.
Features: A fixed PA system and speakers are installed and the floorplan provides a clear dancefloor area plus a raised chancel that can serve as a stage. Wi‑Fi and air conditioning are available, and the area has step‑free guest entrance, wheelchair access and accessible, gender‑neutral toilets. Hosts may bring their own DJ or use the in-house sound and the layout accommodates temporary bar or cloakroom set-ups.
