I didn't have the Mary Read Boat as that was fully booked but we had a roped off, covered outside area that was fantastic. The staff leading up to the event were very helpful and I was very happy with the space provided. The staff on the day were very happy and helpful. We had the private space up until 11pm and were told we could then stay until close (2:30am).
The staff seemed to be stretched as the evening went on with the rest of the outside and bar being very busy. We were told, without warning at ~1am that the bar was closing and we had to leave, much earlier than we were told earlier in the evening. This would have been fine if we were given some notice as I had decorations and presents to clear but the end felt very rushed with no notice.

The party on the day went smoothly - the boat was great, the food was nice, there were no hiccups and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
The communication with the venue prior to the event was difficult with a few misunderstandings. At points it would take a fair few days before I would hear back from the venue and I had to do a lot of chasing to get confirmation of some things which made organising quite stressful. The team on the day were great and very easy to communicate with.

Overall, the staff were incredibly helpful. Jane, Seren and Gio were fantastic throughout the evening. The venue itself was lovely. Clean and the perfect size for 40/50 people. The upstairs terrace too was a fantastic place for people to hang out and take a break.
Although it was a private event. A few strangers kept walking in and eating our catering. The security could have been a bit hotter.

Lee was amazing at coordinating everything and helped for the perfect surprise for my boyfriends 30th. Highly recommended the venue, the photos definitely don’t do it justice. We had awful weather the day of the party but had the best evening downstairs on the boat and made use of the terrace afterwards. They were super flexible on decorations and even lent us some DJ equipment when we had forgotten some parts. 10/10 night, location is spot on and can make your way into studio 90 for the rest of the evening ⭐️ Huge thanks to Lee and the team!
