Great venue for a team meeting. Original, intimate and worked really well. Food was very good as well. Staff very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with - would recommend !

For a big group of people, the audio-visual equipment was not as good as it could have been. Traditional projector and no audio capabilities meant we could not really use multimedia

Excellent venue to book for a private staff party and the staff were fantastic and did a great job of going above and beyond to keep us happy. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location, venue and fantastic service by the staff. They couldn't do enough to help and made us feel very welcome. We also had lots of positive comments on the food which was excellent value and service. I didn't get the name of the guy who looked after us during the day but he was great at balancing keeping us topped up with coffee and water while not disturbing us.

The projector was quite low resolution and the screen was quite small for the size of room, I would recommend investing in both a new projector and a bigger screen to further enhance their value to business customers.

About The Williamson's Tavern

A hidden gem of a pub with tremendous character and charm, situated within a courtyard and within walking distance of St Pauls.

We are able to host a range of events here at the Williamson’s Tavern. Our private downstairs room comes with an exclusive bar, making the space perfect for any event or meeting. With our larger upstairs area, again with a private bar, fantastic for bigger events and parties.

At weekends you can also hire the entire pub for exclusive use. Said to hold the oldest excise licence in the City, our original tavern has a distinguished history. We were originally a residence for the Lord Mayors of London, and William III and Mary dined here.

The original pub dates to the 17th Century, not long after the Great Fire of London and we were rebuilt in the 1930s our ‘new’ interior reflects the style of that period.
