The staff were very helpful and responsive when booking. The venue was nice with lovely views across the water and even when it got chilly there were good heaters. Really enjoyed our evening!
The only thing that was slightly frustrating was people coming up and using the private toilets in the space all night which made them get quite dirty. I know this was because it was a busy night but would have been good to have a sign on the door to say private function or something.

Fantastic location and venue; highly attentive service and fantastic roast lunches for a big group in one go. We loved the flowers on the table, the quality of the wine and the fact the set up was exactly as we asked. The children had space to enjoy being on a boat and on the water - albeit with close supervision. We'll definitely be back. Also v well connected to Stratford, or via cabs from East London.

I had my birthday with 40 people at barge east and it was amazing! From the beginning the communication was so quick and helpful. The space itself was beautiful, great view and a very private spot. Despite it being end of November it was cozy and the staff made sure of it by setting up blankets and a hot water bottle station before we arrived. I couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend to everyone to have an event here
