Basement at Cococure Aldgate

About this space

The Basement is a semi-private basement area in Cococure Aldgate that functions as a music-focused, club-style lounge set apart from the venue's main floor.

Design: The Basement is a compact, low-ceilinged room finished in dark tones and punctuated by coloured accent lighting and a planted sign wall. The Basement arranges bench-backed booths and freestanding tables to face a dedicated performance line, creating clear sightlines toward the front of the space.

The Basement provides an in-room lighting and sound control console that supports live DJs and playback from guest devices. The Basement also has air conditioning and venue Wi‑Fi and allows hosts to play their own music through the system.

Ideal for: The Basement is ideal for groups seeking a music-led, social gathering that mixes standing dance space with seated booth areas.

What guests say: The space has attentive bar and floor staff during private events. The space's DJ and on-site security perform reliably on busy nights.
