Space features
Ursula Loyer's Room is an Event Space in the Van Gogh House, a compact, historically intact interior defined by surviving 19th-century finishes.
Design: The room has pale, muted walls, wide timber floorboards and a tall sash window; painted panelling and simple wall lights keep the palette restrained and unfussy.
Features: The room provides Wi‑Fi, a PA system and speakers, and abundant natural light from the window. A substantial wooden table sits centrally and can be used as a presentation surface or cleared for standing arrangements.
Ideal for: Small creative groups seeking an intimate, informal space for presentations, discussions or hands-on workshops.
What guests say: The space presents authentic period interiors alongside contemporary artworks, giving it historic character and an active gallery feel. The restored rooms are described as well preserved and informative.
Van Gogh House is a local heritage site conserved for future generations and we kindly ask hirers to take care of the space while they are in it. A maximum of 30 people are allowed in the house at any one time. Smoking is only permitted in the garden where an ashtray will be provided. Candles and decoration are at the decretion of the owners only and must be discussed in advance. Nothing should be attached to the walls.
