Mercer Roof Terrace
In one sweep, the view from Mercer Roof Terrace takes in London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard. Here, guests can dine al fresco or enjoy a drink at the bar above the city lights. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to bring the outdoors in. Mercer Roof Terrace can be hired exclusively for breakfast meetings up to 10:00 a.m. for up to 36 people seated or 90 standing with the existing set up of the restaurant. Ideal for power breakfasts, standing breakfast receptions, team incentives, and corporate meetings.

Afternoon Tea
Our City of London Afternoon Tea is available for group bookings from 7 people and above. Honouring the historic trades, guilds and the great fire of London that started nearby, we have created a selection of pastries based on these themes, served alongside home-made scones and savouries. The City of London Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed on its own or with a glass of Champagne or matching cocktails.

Winter Domes at Mercer Roof Terrace
This winter, Mercer Roof Terrace has launched its very own igloo dining pop up. Our two transparent domes can accommodate up to seven people each, offering a unique private dining experience high above The City of London. You can enjoy a menu that celebrates the best of modern English cooking, showcasing farm-to-table meat, fish and seasonal vegetables cooked using our charcoal oven. The setting is warm and cozy, with faux fur blankets, flickering candles and the twinkle of city lights all around – a magical way to spend an evening on a cold winter's night.

Host rules

From receipt of signed contract and up to and including 45 working days prior to the arrival date of The Function:
80% of all contracted room hire revenue
80% of all contracted Day Delegate Rate and food and beverage revenue

Less than 45 working days prior to the arrival date of The Function:
100% of all contracted revenue and any other costs incurred by The Hotel on The Client’s behalf

Any cancellation, postponement, partial cancellation, or reduction in the daily number of reserved rooms should be advised to the management of the Hotel in the first instance verbally.

All cancellations or postponements should be put in writing by the Client in all circumstances.

The cancellation policy will apply for postponement of events at the hotel discretion

About Vintry & Mercer

We have three private rooms on the lower ground floor, each inflected with individual character and style, in a part of the hotel that is secluded and quiet.

Rooms include audio and visual equipment, mini-bar fridges, Nespresso machines, television screens, and high-speed internet.

Whether guests choose our Library, Drawing Room or Music Room, they can be guaranteed an original and quiet venue for dinner, drinks, or business meetings.
