About this space
Our state-of-the-art cinema is available to hire on an hourly basis, either as a stand-alone screening room or as a full venue hire. Our adjoined café and bar is fully licensed and offers a convivial atmosphere for drinks receptions or informal post-screening discussion. The 40-seat cinema is fully equipped with a 2K NEC D-cinema, 2 x Kinoton FP30-D 35mm and EX 6000 16mm projectors and Dolby 5.1 surround.
Located in the heart of Shoreditch, Close-Up is the ideal venue for all your screening needs, whether you wish to host a press screening, corporate event, presentation, conference, cast and crew preview, Christmas or birthday party.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation fee payable to the venue depending on the notice period:
- 60+ days prior to the event No fee, guest receives full refund
- 30 - 59 days prior to the event Fee payable is 50% of total hire cost
- Less than 30 days prior to the event Fee payable is 100% of total hire cost

Amazing experience - Staff were welcoming and very accommodating! The screening room was comfortable and modern and the actually screening was of high quality - we couldn't have asked for a better place to screen our feature film. The whole vibe of the place is one that makes you want to stay for the day! Can't wait to go back!
