About this space

With bright, white brick walls and large arched windows that provide plenty of natural light, the Hampstead Room has great character, and is a popular space for meetings, workshops and training sessions. Situated on the ground floor next to our common room, tea and biscuits are never far from reach!

Please note that due to current social distancing measures the Hampstead Room can only safely accommodate 12 guests. We apologise for the inconvenience this causes but it is of the utmost importance to us that all bookings are carried out in a safe and covid-compliant manner during these uncertain times. This will be subject to change in line with government guidelines as these are updated.

- The customer is responsible for any loss or damage to the LDBS SCITT building and its contents for the duration of their booking
- Due to the organisation of our work, we cannot make the venue available before the venue hire. Thank you for your understanding.
- All customers are obliged to know the location of the fire alarms, the fire extinguishers, the fire evacuation route, as well as the assembly point of the building, which is outside Bishopsdale House further along West End Lane. If you suspect a fire, raise the alarm immediately.

Great people, cool location and so very helpful and supportive, before and during the booking.

Room got a little warm, but we worked out a cooling system that helped everyone.

I left everything where it was supposed too but because an stuff member did not go check or lock the room I’ve been accused of stealing a laptop

About Teaching London: LDBS SCITT

A historic, bright and spacious venue available for hire just 10 minutes from Central London.

Located on the borders of West Hampstead and Kilburn in North West London, this former school building, dating back to the 19th century, has been modernised throughout whilst still retaining its unique character.

The spacious accommodation includes teaching rooms and lecture halls, all of which are available for hire during the week and weekends (daytime and evenings), subject to availability.

There are extensive catering facilities, lounge spaces and toilets on each floor and a generous outdoor area with plants and seating. The downstairs is fully wheelchair accessible and the whole building is protected by a secure video entry phone.
