About this space

The Baptist Bar is a semi-private bar area within L'oscar London that retains the building's original church architecture and high ceilings.

Design: The interior pairs warm timber panelling and brass detailing with curved banquette seating and a patterned carpet under soft wall sconces. The colour palette combines muted greens and pale upholstery around decorative wall panels and arched openings.

Features: The space centres on a long central dining arrangement with banquette seating suited to formal meals. The room includes a PA system and speakers, permits own music or an external DJ, and provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, natural light and wheelchair-accessible facilities including accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Small private groups seeking a seated, polished and social gathering in a contained, restaurant-style setting.

What sets it apart: A pair of ornate arched doors can be closed to create a fully private dining and drinking room.

What guests say: The Baptist Bar benefits from attentive, personalised hospitality from the hotel's staff.
