• Booking times include set-up and clear-down. The venue must be vacated by the agreed end time. Additional time may be charged.
• The hirer is responsible for their guests, suppliers, contractors and entertainers throughout the booking.
• Simplicity is a working bakery. Kitchen, bakery areas and equipment may only be used with prior approval.
• Outside catering and alcohol are only permitted with prior approval and must comply with our licence conditions.
• Furniture may only be moved with permission and must be returned to its original position.
• Decorations are welcome but must not damage walls, floors, ceilings, windows, furniture or fixtures. No nails, screws, staples, permanent adhesives, glitter or loose confetti. Candles/open flames require approval.
• DJs, live music, amplified sound and entertainment must be agreed in advance and comply with our licensing and noise requirements. Please respect our neighbours.
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside.
• The venue must be left reasonably clean and tidy. Personal belongings, decorations and external equipment must be removed. Excessive cleaning may incur a charge.
DAMAGE & BREAKAGES
• The hirer is responsible for any damage, breakage or loss caused during the booking by themselves, their guests, suppliers, contractors or entertainers.
• This includes furniture, crockery, glassware, equipment, fixtures, fittings, walls, floors, windows, doors and outdoor areas.
• The reasonable cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the hirer.
• Additional cleaning or specialist repair costs resulting from the event may also be charged.
• Any damage or breakages should be reported before leaving, although damage discovered after the event may still be charged.
• Fire exits and emergency routes must remain clear.
• By confirming a booking, the hirer agrees to these rules and accepts responsibility for their guests and suppliers.
