About this space

Welcome to Pitcher & Piano Cornhill! Our Basement Bar is a popular choice for a wide range of events. We can accommodate up to 110 seated guests or 200 standing guests. The space is equipped with its own private, fully serviced bar - serving 9 draught beers and ciders, wines from around the world, cocktails, and an impressive range of spirits. The space is perfect for larger groups who wish for exclusivity.

In the past, the Basement Bar has been used for birthday parties, leaving drinks, wedding receptions, conferences, quiz nights, networking events, team meetings/away days, Christmas parties (both shared and private), large private dining events, baby showers, and many other types of functions. It's a versatile space which is neutrally decorated allowing you to decorate to your own taste. It's equipped with plenty of tables and chairs but the furniture can be moved around to your liking.

We offer complimentary use of our AV equipment if you require microphones, a projector, television screens, etc. You can access the music system with our AUX cable. We can also source you a DJ if you prefer to have someone else in control of the tunes!

We work on a minimum spend basis (excluding dry hire events) which gets you exclusive use of the space plus bar staff to serve you for the duration of the event. Minimum spend varies heavily depending on the day of the week and the time of year, but the prices reflected on our profile are our typical costs. Please let me know your approximate budget when you make the enquiry.
