Welcome to Blank Canvas

Located in the heart of Fulham, South West London, Blank Canvas is a bright, contemporary gallery designed to give your ideas room to flourish.

With its prominent corner position, two floor-to-ceiling windows, generous 2.9m ceilings, crisp white walls and bespoke copper-pipe lighting, the space offers a beautiful, adaptable setting for exhibitions, pop-ups, brand launches, photoshoots and private celebrations.

We also have an on-site recording studio available for separate hire, with optional equipment and technical support.

Rates & Booking

* Daily hire: £390 for the full space
* One-off handover fee: £80 per booking
* Reduced rates for longer bookings
* Weekend minimum: 2 days, which can be split into two half-days and one full day, giving you plenty of time to set up, enjoy your event and pack down without rushing.
* Standard hours: 10am–9:30pm
* Events finish by 9:30pm, with guests clear of the surrounding area by 10pm.

A Little About the Building

Blank Canvas is also home to a small community of creatives: Eris, an interior designer; Adam, a painter; and Clodagh, who runs the recording studio.

They work independently with their own entrance, so you’re unlikely to notice them during your hire. Only the kitchenette and bathroom are shared.

Host rules

• No smoking or vaping inside the building.
• Music and amplified sound are welcome but must be kept at a reasonable level and must not be excessively loud.
• All music must be switched off and guests must begin leaving by 9:30pm. All guests must have left the premises and surrounding pavement by 10pm.
• Maximum capacity is 70 standing or 45 seated.
• For events of more than 30 guests where alcohol is served, we recommend using one of our trusted security guards.
• Complimentary alcohol may be served. If alcohol is being sold, the hirer must obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from Hammersmith & Fulham Council, applied for at least two weeks before the event.
• Painting, fixing to walls or making alterations to the space must be agreed with us in advance.
• Please treat the walls, floors, furniture and equipment with care. Any damage caused during the booking may result in additional charges.
• The space and any furniture or equipment used must be returned to its original condition and position at the end of the booking.
• A maximum of one standard bin bag may be left on site. All additional rubbish, packaging, installation materials or other waste must be removed by the hirer.
• Please ensure the space is secured and the keys are returned as instructed at the end of your booking.
