About this space

The Hartnell Room at Lilibet’s is located on the floor below the main dining room. The space accommodates 12–22 guests for a seated arrangement or up to 35 guests for standing receptions.

Inspired by the couturier and dressmaker Sir Norman Hartnell, whose studio was located opposite No. 17 Bruton Street, the room offers a personal and exclusive dining experience, enhanced by crystal chandeliers and pleated pink silk-lined walls inspired by Hartnell’s distinctive pleating. His most famous commissions included his designs for Queen Elizabeth’s wedding dress in 1947, and his highly celebrated Coronation gown 6 years later.
