Dear Freya and Jesse, I just wanted to send a note to say thank you so much for letting us host our diabetes Team of Life day at The Foundry yesterday. We were all blown away by the friendliness of every member of staff we encountered and everyone loved the site. Freya, you made the run up to the group so easy while we juggled staff leave our end and thank you for checking on us throughout the day and even plotting our storm plan b for the afternoon and emergency printing. Running groups off site can be challenging but you made it a breeze. The reception staff were really welcoming and the catering staff were lovely too! The young people all really enjoyed the football coaching and the girls appreciated their flexibility when they ran out of steam with the football. I was really impressed with how they included the different ages. The feedback we’ve had so far has been great. One mum emailed us today to say how special it was her for to see her son playing sport with other young people with diabetes for the first time in his life and how it had meant he could feel comfortable and just enjoy himself. Thanks again and hopefully we can work with you again in the future. With best wishes Halina
