About this space

Studio 1 at Cargo Rooms is offered as a dry hire film and photo location within a purpose-built industrial music studio. The space combines a raw container aesthetic with a fully equipped performance environment, suitable for music videos, live sessions, interviews, and branded content.

The studio includes a full backline, available as-is for visual use or performance capture. Lighting is installed and ready to use, featuring six wall-mounted RGB softbox units, two additional RGB lights on stands, and Nanlite RGB tube lights. A smoke machine is available for atmospheric effects.

Blackout curtains allow full control of natural light, ensuring consistent shooting conditions.

This is a dry hire booking: no technician, engineer, or production support is provided. Hirers are expected to operate equipment independently.

We are an advance ‘ticket / RSVP only’ venue. No tickets to be sold OTD. All
Promoters are in charge of their own ticketing and keep 100% of ticket sales.
Promoters must provide their own box office personnel.
TIMINGS AND CURFEWS
With enough notice we are flexible on Load In and Door Time. The live curfew
is 10pm and Load Out and venue closure is 11pm

We are strictly an 18+ event space
RIDERS AND THE BAR
No external alcohol rider is allowed on the premises. We run a private bar for
you and your guests which includes beer, wine, vodka, gin and rum. We offer
a choice of mixers and soft drinks which include orange juice, coke, fanta and
lemonade. You may bring in your own food rider
MERCHANDISE
We do not take a commission on merchandise
