This 430 sq ft studio sits on the third floor of an old industrial building in Hackney, shared with other working artists.
It’s bright, with high ceilings and plenty of windows, so the light stays soft and consistent through the day. The space feels calm and open, with a slightly raw edge—there are still traces of past work, which adds a bit of character without getting in the way.
It’s mainly used for large-scale painting, but it’s easy to adapt for workshops, drawing sessions, movement, rehearsals, or small group meetups. You can set it up however you need—tables or floor-based—with space for around 6–10 people.
You’ve got basic setup covered with tables, seating, and open floor space, plus access to shared building facilities. It’s all part of a wider creative community in East London, so it feels active but still easy to focus.

This is a working artist studio and is used for large-scale painting during the week. Please treat the space, materials and atmosphere with care and respect.
The studio is best suited for calm, focused activities such as workshops, drawing sessions and movement practices. It is not suitable for parties or loud events.
Only light alcohol consumption is permitted. The space is not appropriate for heavy drinking.
Please leave the studio as you found it. Any damage to the space or equipment may result in additional charges.
No smoking inside the building.
Toilets are shared within the building and are in keeping with an artist studio environment (not a serviced or commercial venue).
Please be mindful of other artists working in the building and keep noise to a reasonable level, especially in communal areas.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
