About this space
Located on the ground floor at the heart of the Building Centre, the Main Gallery is a large, open-plan space accommodating up to 350 guests. It is best suited to receptions, evening events, launches, and screenings, as well as daytime receptions and informal talks. This area is perfect for hiring for large scale exhibitions and can be joined with the window gallery space too.
A defining feature of the gallery is the 16-metre by 3-metre 4K video wall running the full length of the space, ideal for immersive presentations, films, digital installations and branded content. An in-house technical team supports setup and live operation.
With high ceilings and a calm, contemporary finish, the Main Gallery provides a flexible, neutral backdrop for professional, cultural and brand-led events, and is particularly popular for evening hire when the space transitions into a more intimate setting.

For smaller meetings and informal events, catering can also be provided by Lower Fifth, who operate the Building Centre café. Options include coffee and pastries, light lunches and refreshments, offering a more relaxed and cost-effective solution for smaller groups.

This venue was absolutely perfect for our event - it had everything we needed, and the screens were brilliant (and easy!) set dressing. The staff were wonderful and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend :)
