The Great Hall was built in 1896 and retains its beautiful Victorian architecture to this day. After being renovated refurbished in recent years, this versatile and licensed venue is used for a wide scope of events including conferences, exhibitions, trade fairs, award ceremonies, receptions and conventions.
The maximum capacities are:
400 standing
300 theatre
200 cabaret
160 dining
156 exam
Below the hall is the Rocket Café Bar, a more informal space that can accommodate up to 350 guests. The adjoining spacious courtyard area provides outdoor space for visitors to use and increases this capacity to 600.
