We recently hosted an event at this venue and appreciated the opportunity to use the space. The room itself was suitable for our needs; however, there were a few challenges that impacted our overall experience.
We had requested a cabaret-style setup in advance, but upon arrival the room was arranged in a theatre layout. As a result, the space needed to be rearranged, which delayed our start time and disrupted the flow of the morning.
Our contract stated that we had access to the venue until 6:00pm. Around 5:00pm, some of our guests were approached and asked about our departure time, which felt unproffesional and created unnecessary pressure toward the end of the programme.
We were also quoted £15 per person for tea and coffee. We chose not to proceed with this, as we typically see similar venues charge closer to £3 per person for comparable refreshments. While venues are, of course, entitled to set their own pricing, this may be something future clients will want to clarify in advance.

Manon was very helpful and quick to respond when I was putting together my first event. There were a few requests on my side which she kindly accommodated. It was also great to see the room and meet Manon in person beforehand so I felt very much at ease about how the day was going to go. The event went really well, everyone from Hyatt Place who was involved did everything to make sure the event ran smoothly and well. My guests were all really impressed and had a wonderful time.

Pleasant communication
We recently hosted an event at this venue. The location is excellent,it’s situated in a great area, well connected, with a mosque and plenty of food options nearby, which was very convenient for our attendees.
However, there were a few operational issues that impacted our experience.
We had requested a cabaret-style setup in advance, but when we arrived the room was arranged in a theatre layout. This required rearranging before we could begin, which significantly delayed our start time.
