About this space

Bacchus Late Bar and Venue is a compact basement late bar whose defining quality is an intimate, single-room layout that concentrates activity in one main space.

Design: The interior is low-ceilinged with exposed wooden beams, dark-painted brick and stone walls and a terracotta-tiled floor; booth alcoves and colourful mural panels provide pockets of seating within the compact room.

Features: The venue has a fixed bar, built-in booth seating and an open central floor suitable for standing or dancing. The room includes a PA system and speakers, and the venue permits bring-your-own DJ or playing your own music. Alcoholic drinks including beer, wine and spirits are available on site.

Ideal for: Friend groups looking for an informal, standing-or-dancing late-night social night in a compact, club-style space.

What guests say: The space delivers a lively late-night atmosphere and an energetic crowd on busy nights. The toilets and some seating have received criticism, and the venue operates firm ID and security checks at entry.
