At Macellaio RC South Kensington, we’re all about honest Italian food, great steak, and a proper warm welcome. We're passionate about doing the simple things really well. Our butchers work in view of the dining room, so you can see your steak being cut before it hits the grill. It’s a bit of theatre, but it’s also about respecting the ingredient.
We specialise in Fassona beef — a lean, tender cut from northern Italy that’s hard to find elsewhere in London. It’s rich, flavourful, and full of character, just like the place itself. Add to that our handmade bread, pizzas straight from the oven, and a wine list built for lingering over — and you’ve got a true Italian spot that feels both casual and a bit special.
