The Cellar at The George on Collins

From start to finish booking my wedding reception at The George on Collins was an amazing experience. Tom and Poppy were absolutely helpful with the booking and preparation process. They were both professional, friendly, precise and supportive about everything. We had decor hire from an event stylist and a wedding cake for delivery direct to the George and they were arranged as per my request seamlessly. We held our event at The Cellar, which was clean, cozy, and beautiful with the private bar, private toilets, and rest areas available. For the meals we ordered the $95pp set menu for our guests and everything was delicious. The George printed out the set menu and placed it on our tables. The sticky mekhong lamb ribs, the pork belly and the mini golden g were among our favourites. We had a bar tab and arranged for a limited drinks menu which was also printed out for everyones convenience. On the day service staff were very helpful and attentive. Lilu and Long (I hope I got their names and spelling relatively close) were giving out premium service and always checking and supporting us throughout our small program with the drinks and cake cutting. I’m very thankful to The George on Collins team for a wonderful day spent with good food with all my loved ones celebrating our special day. A special thank you to Poppy for the sun dance! We made it happily dry to the venue with the rain gone! I 100% would recommend people to book at The George on Collins for the beautiful venue, delicious food, and amazing staff. It's a 100 out of 10 experience. I didn't take pics on my phone on the day of the wedding reception but I can definitely provide afterwards once the photographer get backs to us if needed.

We had a lovely wedding reception experience at The Cellar. The George on Collins team was suberb! From the first point of contact, to all our requests - they are into it! I cannot fault anything. My husband and I had the most wonderful time! Food was amazing and service was provided as planned. 🙂

We had our wedding reception at George on Collins. Everyone loved the space and could not get over how beautiful everything was. The food was incredible and we loved that the delicious courses just kept on coming. So many of our guests agreed it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Would 100% recommend to anyone considering George on Collins!

Such a beautiful venue for a function. The staff at the George were very accommodating, catering for our staff that had dietary considerations and allergies. The food and cocktails were sensational.
