About this space

The Reflection Garden is a private outdoor garden in Chapter Place, enclosed by original bluestone prison walls.

Design: The garden pairs broad timber decking with low, geometric planting beds and gravel channels to form a spare, ordered outdoor room under open sky. The palette is natural timber and stone, and the layout keeps sight lines clear.

Features: The space has a wide timber deck containing built-in bench seating alongside loose timber chairs and tables that can be rearranged. The space includes a low, circular raised platform that functions as a focal point or small stage. The space permits own music and external DJs and benefits from full natural light.

Ideal for: Small, sociable groups for relaxed standing receptions or informal seated gatherings.

What guests say: The space is characterful and well maintained. The space is supported by attentive, highly organised event management that handles styling and logistics.
