About this space
Studio 1 is a spacious, flexible wooden studio suitable for a wide range of creative, wellness, and rehearsal-based bookings.
The studio works well for dance classes, yoga and Pilates sessions, choir practice, rehearsals, workshops, practice sessions, and small-scale filming or recording. Its open layout allows the space to be adapted easily depending on the activity, whether movement-based or more structured.
The studio features a sprung wooden floor designed for comfort and safety, suitable for all movement styles and footwear. A sound system and Wi-Fi are provided, making it practical for classes, rehearsals, or hybrid sessions such as Zoom-based workshops. Portable mirrors are now available, offering additional flexibility for different uses.
With a generous size of approximately 10m x 11m, Studio 1 comfortably accommodates groups while still feeling open and uncluttered.
Please note: enquiries submitted over the weekend will be answered the following business day, during staffed hours. Bookings for the following week must be received by the Friday of the week prior.

Kids Party Offers
Parties at Beat Dance are like no other company. Here at Beat Dance we have fully qualified educators and dancer's entertaining and hosting to allow the party to work like clockwork! This allows parents, children and all guests to completely relax, celebrate and enjoy themselves!
When: Saturdays at 3.30pm and Sundays at 10am, 12.30pm and 3.15pm.
Where: Beat Dance, 37/2 Cobham Street, Reservoir
Who: Suitable for all ages! Hosted by trained dancers and educators.
What: There are 2 packages to choose from, a Disco Party or Pamper Party
Things to note on your party:
- Hosts run the party for the age group of the birthday person. If you have older children coming or even younger, please understand that we are tailoring the party (dance moves and music) to one age bracket, for example 5-8yrs.
- Adults that attend must supervise their children, as the Hosts are busy running the party; should some children not want to participate and dance, or there be other children or family attending.
- There is enough seating for the party invited guests, i.e. the children, but not every adult. Being a dance party, space for the activities is needed.
- Please talk to us if wanted a sit down party, this may fall under a different category/package of party.
- The Upstairs studio is not included in the party unless you choose the pamper party option.
