About this space
A rectangular studio finished with smooth concrete walls and a polished timber dance floor that gives an unobstructed working surface. Even natural light provides soft, even illumination and the room photographs with clean, neutral tones.
Room features: A PA system and speakers allow local music playback for classes and rehearsals while full-length wall mirrors support choreography, camera blocking and movement checks. Wi‑Fi enables streaming playlists and remote direction and air conditioning maintains a consistent working environment.
Best for: Dance classes and rehearsals, choreography filming and movement-led shoots, plus small group workshops and performance run-throughs.
What sets it apart: A high exposed industrial ceiling provides room for elevated camera positions and overhead framing choices that many low-ceiling studios cannot support.

Parties at Beat Dance are like no other company. Here at Beat Dance we have fully qualified educators and dancer's entertaining and hosting to allow the party to work like clockwork! This allows parents, children and all guests to completely relax, celebrate and enjoy themselves!
When: Saturdays at 3.30pm and Sundays at 10am, 12.30pm and 3.15pm.
Where: Beat Dance, 37/2 Cobham Street, Reservoir
Who: Suitable for all ages! Hosted by trained dancers and educators.
What: There are 2 packages to choose from, a Disco Party or Pamper Party
Things to note on your party:
- Hosts run the party for the age group of the birthday person. If you have older children coming or even younger, please understand that we are tailoring the party (dance moves and music) to one age bracket, for example 5-8yrs.
- Adults that attend must supervise their children, as the Hosts are busy running the party; should some children not want to participate and dance, or there be other children or family attending.
- There is enough seating for the party invited guests, i.e. the children, but not every adult. Being a dance party, space for the activities is needed.
- Please talk to us if wanted a sit down party, this may fall under a different category/package of party.
- The Upstairs studio is not included in the party unless you choose the pamper party option.
