About this space

Warden's Cottage Lawn is a semi-private outdoor lawn at Chapter Place defined by a formal axial layout that creates a clear central procession across the turf.

Design: The lawn is a rectangular, level turf framed by heritage stone buildings and a two-storey structure with a timber balcony. Broad open sky above and consistent natural light make the space feel bright and visually direct.

Features: The outdoor area includes an installed PA system and speakers and permits bring-your-own-DJ setups. The space provides step-free guest access and wheelchair access, and accessible toilets are available on site. The lawn benefits from plentiful natural light for daytime use.

Ideal for: Intimate to medium groups seeking a relaxed, social outdoor setting for seated or standing formats.

What guests say: The lawn is well maintained and presents a warm, inviting outdoor setting. The space is consistently described as characterful and visually engaging within the wider complex.
