About this space
Our Studio A features a 10 x 3.6m stage with a full lighting grid and large music sound system including a Midas 32Live console and Chamsys Q10 lighting desk.
For recordings we can provide a Yamaha C7X Grand Piano and Yamaha Recording drum Kit with Paiste Signature Series cymbals.
Studio A can be supplied with full recording facilities to capture high-quality sound and video including streaming from any event or performance.
Right outside the entrance to Studio A there is a bar area, and next to it the Kitchen and Lounge areas (where you'll also have access to another grand piano).
This unique layout makes it possible for this versatile space to lend itself to a wide variety of events, including and not limited to: music-themed parties and events, private concerts, album launches, music industry functions and showcases, corporate events, team building and workshops.
Tours of this studio as well as the other recording studios can be provided as part of an event or supplied for a variety of demonstration purposes as part of an event using more than one studio.

Recording Dry hire with our assistant engineer: $1320 (Half Day 5 hours) / $1650 (Full Day 10hrs)
No hourly rates.
PLEASE NOTE - Large Ensembles or large groups requiring substantial setup of chairs, music stands and a full configuration of recording equipment will also be required to pay for setup and possibly additional engineers or assistants POA.
PLEASE NOTE - If you plan to sell tickets we need to agree on all ticketing arrangements and may take a percentage of the ticket. Please notify of us of all plans for any event and discuss this first.
Please note our best rates apply for complete packages, particularly where we supply a combination of services including venue hire, catering, bar service, photography, supply of live entertainment and more. We particularly like to work with bands and artists wishing to record and stream live concerts to VIP audiences. Studio A has 64 channels of recording facilities and filming services which can be utilised together with the live stage and venue as a whole.

Empire Music Studios by the nature of its core business is hiring its studios by day for music recording artists but doubles as an event space for all kinds of events, particularly music based or music themed parties and launches. We generally only use the spaces for events on Friday and Saturday nights and Sundays, day or night.

No smoking in the building, smoking area provided outside if required.
Alcohol licence can be provided by 3rd party caterer and temporary licences can be applied for depending on the event.
Access times are to be determined and will depend on daily bookings of the recording studios, separate to the event bookings.
Aspects of the booking such as Cleaning, Staff requirements and Security to be determined as appropriate per event.
Empire reserves the right to refuse bookings that do not suit or respect the nature of the venue.
Strict policies will apply regarding damage or theft to recording studio property.

Empire Music Studios offers a unique multi-studio and multi events space built within a large 1250sqm warehouse.
Perfect for music-themed parties and events, private concerts, album launches, music industry parties, corporate events, team building and workshops.
With two stages, complete in-house sound and lighting, three grand pianos, a photography studio, bar and a catering kitchen.
Empire can cater for all kinds of parties, concerts and events with that cool music industry vibe and that red carpet touch.
We also provide photographers and video services along with catering, bar staff and security. We have a variable liquor licence for our own events but can also allow outside access to Event companies and caterers with an external liquor licence.
Empire is a fully commercial recording studio facility by day but can readily transform into a club-like atmosphere and provide live music both on the main stage in Studio A as well as in the front lounge bar area.
Empire has a flat easy load-in and has facilities for wheelchair access and for people of differing needs. As a bonus, there is plenty of easy un-restricted parking available right nearby.
