About G Asian Canteen

G Asian Canteen, established in the spring of 2023 by chef/owner Gilles Brem, a distinguished graduate of the Institute Paul Bocuse, France, takes diners on a transcendent culinary journey. Gilles, with his culinary expertise, imparts a fusion of Vietnamese and French flavors, enriching the restaurant with a diverse and exquisite palette of tastes.

The restaurant's menu showcases an enticing selection of Vietnamese street food and drinks, drawing inspiration from the French culinary heritage. Highlighting cultural fusion, signature dishes like Pho, originally known as "pot au feu," embody the harmonious blend of influences. The iconic Banh Mi sandwich, historically recognized as "pain de mie" or "Saigon" sandwich, exemplifies the seamless marriage of Vietnamese and French culinary traditions.
