Very friendly and professional manager Well-priced and nice pub food Good beer selection, but could be expanded a bit Excellent gin selection as well Dog friendly TV screen with channels that can be changed Clean toilets on the same level as the private room.
The younger pub shift at the downstairs bar tried to close the bar earlier, even though we agreed they would keep it open till 00:00. The upstairs gets quite steamy in the summer

Space is good, although photos are deceiving so 40 people standing is more realistic. Team were very helpful.
I didn’t see anywhere when booking that vat would be added to the final total. I’d asked for the drinks and food menu in advance which looked like the usual price you’d pay normally in the bar (so with vat) so budgeted on that plus the 12.5% service charge. Also instructed the barman on what drinks to allow on the tab and some exceeded that. However everyone enjoyed it and I would use the venue again.

The venue was ideal for my birthday party. Being in central London meant that most could get there easily and the venue were really good at communicating throughout. We requested food and on of my guest said it was the best scotch egg they ever had. That being said the venue was really amenable to decorating and music. And the barman was great making it feel like a mini pub atmosphere. Would strongly recommend
