A great, airy and relaxed cost-effective venue in a great part of town.
Room was warm with lots of natural light, meeting amenities worked as expected.
Room wasn’t insulated from cafe noise downstairs which at points became quite distracting
The location was great, and the room had more than enough space for four of us. Natural light was a plus too.
I don't think this venue should be listed as a meeting room to be honest. The noise from the cafe carries up the stairs, so the meeting room itself is noisy as the doors aren't sound-proof. It was very distracting and took us over an hour to get used to how loud it was. We had planned to record while in the room, but that wasn't possible due to the background noise. The bathroom wasn't clean. And there's only one bathroom, which is used by everyone in the cafe. There were crumbs of food on the table when we arrived. The team wasn't particularly warm or friendly either. Given the level of noise and general cleanliness, I think you're better off working for free at a chain or high street coffee shop.
nice space
