Very spacious venue with more than enough facilities for what I needed. The staff were incredibly helpful, which was especially reassuring as this was my first time hosting an event like this. They gave me plenty of opportunities to view the space as often as needed, which really supported my planning. On the day, they gave us the privacy we needed while still checking in occasionally to make sure everything was running smoothly and that we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I would definitely book this venue again.
Toilet access at the venue was limited, as the only toilets within the venue were inaccessible during our event. They were located in a separate staff area that had been sectioned off with shutters, so guests had to use the main building toilets outside of the venue space instead.

Creative Alliance offers practical meeting, training and workshop spaces in the Zellig Building at Birmingham’s Custard Factory, in the heart of Digbeth.

The venue includes two flexible training and meeting rooms, a relaxed breakout and seating area, kitchen access, Wi-Fi, built-in projectors, screens and hot drink facilities. Rooms can be booked individually, or the full suite can be hired for private use.

Our spaces work well for boardroom meetings, staff training, workshops, presentations, interviews, planning sessions, team away days, assessment centres and small group events. Layouts can be adjusted depending on the session, including boardroom, theatre-style, L-shaped, workshop/training layouts and open space where tables are not required.

The venue has a more informal working feel than a standard hotel meeting room, while still being set up properly for professional use. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and refreshments, with catering and additional refreshments available on request.
