Second House

Second House is an intimate, design-forward event and gathering space in the heart of Chelsea, Manhattan. Originally designed as a modern tea house, the space pairs the warmth and character of classic New York architecture with a refined, minimalist aesthetic.

Exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, high ceilings, soft neutral textiles, curated furnishings and a large street-facing window create a warm and distinctive setting for private events, corporate gatherings, team offsites, workshops, intimate dinners, tastings, wellness experiences, brand events, product launches, photo shoots and creative meetings.

The flexible open layout can be adapted to suit a variety of gatherings. An expandable central dining table can seat up to 10 guests or be repositioned to create additional open floor space. Built-in window seating and additional furnishings offer relaxed areas for guests to gather, while the exposed brick and clean opposite wall provide beautiful backdrops for presentations, photography or branded displays.

The space also features a hospitality kitchenette with two sinks, a mini refrigerator, filtered water on tap and counter space for beverage and catering service. A three-compartment sink and private restroom are located toward the rear of the venue. Outside catering is welcome.

Located at street level on West 17th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, the venue offers direct storefront access for easy guest arrival and load-in. The large front window brings in natural light, while curtains can be adjusted for additional privacy.

Second House was created to feel more intimate and considered than a traditional event venue—a welcoming setting for groups looking to gather, connect, celebrate or create in a space with character.
